Working with young and emerging artists in North America and abroad is an integral part of the work of the group. The trio works to encourage the discovery of Canadian and American Music and highlights current and up and coming Canadian and American composers with thought to female composers through curated repertoire master classes, lecture recitals, and in our own recital programs.
In past seasons, Women on the Verge was invited to present master classes at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Iceland University of the Arts, the Universities of Alberta, Calgary and Lethbridge; lecture recitals at Grande Prairie Regional College, AB, and curated Canadian and American repertoire master classes at the Iceland University of the Arts. Upcoming projects include masterclasses at McMaster University, artist in residence with Centennial Secondary School Arts Program (Belleville, ON) and working with emerging composers, singers and pianists in developing new vocal repertoire through Green Room Sound Collective.
